Specimen:- pap smears from
1.Ectocervix.
2.Endocervix.
Microscope: 1.The inflammatory and haemorrhagic
smears reveal mainly intermediate cells
and few superficial cells.
2.Several loosely dispersed and few
cohesive clusters of endocervical cells and few squamous metaplastic cells are seen along with Dodderlein bacilli.Some of clusters show inflammatory atypia.
No dyskaryotic or malignant cells are detected.
Diagnosis: CERVICITIS
